EXPO Art Show & Sale
Annual EXPO Art Show – held at the Salisbury Civic Center each September. Monetary & ribbon awards are presented for works in 9 categories including oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, drawing, mixed media, photography & digital designs, fluid art, and sculpture & 3D. A gift shop is also on site for sale of small art items.
Our 35th annual show was held Sept. 16-20, 2025 and was our best show ever. More than 40 artists participated showing more than 300 pieces of art.
Other Shows & Events
We have an annual show at the Spencer Woman’s Club each April. This is a smaller show than the September Expo, but our members who participate do very well with their sales.
We collaborate with other art organizations in the area and have a booth at the Hurley Park Festival https://octobertour.com/
In addition to shows, we sponsor various workshops to help artists further their skills. In 2024, we held two 2-day plein air workshops. One was with artist Jeremy Sams and the other was with artist Craig Richards. You don’t have to be a member to attend these workshops.
The Carolina Artists have also worked with children and at long term care homes in the past. Plus we sell our work at many other art and community events in the area.

Molten Makerfaire
The Carolina Artists guild had a booth at the Molten Makerfaire event in High Point.
Winterfest
The Carolina Artists guild had a booth at Winterfest in Spencer, with artwork for sale and a spot where families could make their own Christmas ornament.
