Yesi Abney is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist and poet working across painting, digital art, photography, photo restoration, and public installations. Rooted in history, culture, and connection, her work celebrates community, joy, and everyday beauty. Yesi has been selected multiple times for Salisbury’s Paint the Pavement and Charlotte SHOUT!’s Easter Eggs on Parade, and her creative voice has also appeared in Salisbury’s Sidewalk Poetry project. Her work has been featured and recognized in other regional public art and festival projects throughout North Carolina. Her art invites viewers and readers to pause, feel, and rediscover the stories that shape us.
